Common issues

The app isn't recognising my ingredients from the photo.+
Make sure your photo is well-lit and ingredients are spread out. Avoid blurry shots. If the issue persists, manually add ingredients via the text field.
YouTube recipe extraction failed.+
Only publicly available YouTube cooking videos are supported. Private or age-restricted videos cannot be extracted. Try a different video URL.
I'm not receiving expiry alerts.+
Check that notifications are enabled in your browser or device settings for the TikkaMate app.
My login isn't working.+
TikkaMate uses Google Sign-In. Make sure you're using the same Google account you registered with, and that third-party cookies are not blocked.
Can I use TikkaMate offline?+
TikkaMate is a Progressive Web App (PWA). Once installed, some features work offline, but AI-powered recipe generation requires an internet connection.
